Mukluks
Mukluks & Moccasins are known as the seasonal footwear for North American Indian Tribes. Originated by North American Indians, Mukluks became the footwear of choice for European settlers, fur traders, hunters and pioneers because of its warmth, comfort and durability. The Mukluk is the winter version of the Moccasin, protecting those wearing them from winter elements, including the snow, ice and additional aspects of this abrasive season. Today, Mukluks and Moccasins are made using traditional methods and materials. This includes single and double stitching, genuine leather/suede of deer, moose, sheep, or cow, unique hand beading and fur trimmings. read more... |
